Practices are from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. It will be a come and go practice, which means come when you can between those hours. If we need to stay later, we will. Just be there before 8:00. There will be a charge of $5.00 per shooter and a $5.00 ammo charge for those who don't have their own.  Only CFDA approved ammo allowed.  Practices are subject to cancellation. Please email me prior to making the trip down.

Colorado State Championship July 24 - 26, 2008 
PLEASE BRING EYE AND EAR PROTECTION
and the following items:
  • Guns - single action traditional style revolver that shoots a 45 long colt cartridge. 
  • Gun belt and holster.
  • Bring a friend.  We have extra holsters and guns they can use if they don't have one.
  • Ammunition - only CFDA approved allowed
  • Picnic lunch or snacks.
  • Dress -  1880s - 1890s cowboy attire, NO TENNIS SHOES,   SANDALS, T-SHIRTS, SHORTS, OR BALL CAPS Please.
  • Gun cleaning kit - the wax can build up in the barrel
  • Lawn chair
  • Fee - $10.00 per shooter for Club members and "1st time" shooters (for the 1st 3 shoots)  $15.00 for non  members.
  • $5.00 ammo fee for those who need to use Club ammo.

 

 

Sign-in will be at 9:00 am and the 
safety meeting will be at 9:30. Please e-mail me if you think you might be able to attend and how many you will be bringing with you. This helps us know what size of a group to prepare for.
Even if the weather is bad, we will still shoot, we shoot  inside. 

We are located approx. 2 miles south of Castle Rock , on the east frontage road of I-25.  Look for the "Colorado Pistoleros" banner on competition days.  Please email for more detailed directions.

We have gun belts, holsters and guns available for 1st timers so if you don't have these items please don't let that stop you from trying out Cowboy Fast Draw!
